A Bible Study for Skeptics

In his book, The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism, Tim Keller asks:

Is skepticism or faith on the ascendancy in the world today? The answer is Yes. The enemies are both right. Skepticism, fear, and anger toward traditional religion are growing in power and influence. But at the same time, robust, orthodox belief in the traditional faiths is growing as well…In short, the world is polarizing over religion. It is getting both more religious and less religious at the same time.

Beginning Sunday morning, June 21 at 9:30 am Calvary will offer a summer elective for all adults age 18 and older who have questions about the Christian faith and its place in a secular culture. Based on Tim Keller’s book, The Reason for God, our pastor will lead us in a discussion of questions that seem to undermine the validity of religious faith in general and the Christian faith in particular.

So if you’ve ever had doubts about your faith, or you are a skeptic, or you are a follower of Jesus who desires to really understand what Christianity is all about, we invite you to join us each Sunday morning at 9:30 am in The Lyceum beginning June 21.
