Our Church has a group of pastors, directors, staffing, and volunteers that are dedicated to equip each and every person in our church to do something great through God.

Dan Howard

Lead Pastor

Dan is a graduate of Fresno Pacific University (BA), Golden Gate Seminary (MDiv), and is currently pursuing a DMin from Phoenix Seminary (ABD). He has a heart for God, a passion for the lost, and a love for God's Word.

Pete Mar

Associate Pastor

Pastor Pete came on board in 2002 to lead our outreach and development. Since then, he has become a friend, a brother, and a counselor to many in our church and throughout Waterford.

Shawna Miller

Receptionist and Special Events Coordinator

Shawna became our receptionist in 2019 and since has taken over many projects and is our coordinator when it comes to planning church outreach events and potlucks.

Lizzy Rogers

Director of Family Ministries

Lizzy, originally from Petaluma, California, graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Family and Youth Ministry. Lizzy brings a passionate love for God, an infectious love for kids and students, and a fun and creative leadership both.

Director of Kids Ministries

Katie is our Director of Kids Ministries. It would be safe to say all who know Katie love her and she brings a joyful and loving leadership to all things ages birth through 6th grade.

Sarah Gardner

Nursery and Preschool Director

Sarah provides a safe, creative, and fun environment for babies through kindergarten. We want to be a resource for kids and parents to hear about a savior who made them, loves them, and designed them.

Communications and Graphics Associate

Sydney oversees all our social media accounts, website, promotion, and all things communication. Sydney brings a kind and creative heart to our team.

Tiffany is our glue overseeing our bookkeeping and finance department. We love Tiffany's sense of adventure and positive spirit she brings to the team.

Director of  Worship Ministries

Kristyn is our gifted and talented Director of Worship Ministries overseeing our weekend services and worship teams. She brings a deep heart of passion towards glorifying God to our entire church.

Caleb helps design the weekend worship experience. Caleb's talent, love for people, and joy are impacting our church in a great way (and he gets to be married to Lizzy).

Ace Madsen

Celebrate Recovery Ministry

Ace oversees our weekly Celebrate Recovery Ministry. Ace is a new grandfather and has an infectious passion to reach the lost and marginalized for Jesus and see them completely free in Christ.

Leadership Council

The Leadership Council consists of Pastor Dan, Randy Angle, Don Davis, Don Crooker, and Brett Goodwin. Their tasks are to govern and oversee the church, to provide guidance in decision making, to evaluate and shepherd the spiritual atmosphere of our people, and to help develop vision towards growth and missions.

Finance Team

The CBC Finance Team consists of Pastor Dan, Randy Angle, Lisa Muller, Carol Williams, and Tiffany Oberg. Their jobs are to oversee the current financials of the church, insure all things are done with financial integrity and the utmost care, and to inspire and disciple the church in giving generously and sacrificially.
